A Place for Visitors to Check-in!

On another blog I follow (MillannialLifeCrisis), I found a sign-in page that allowed the blog’s readers to link their own blogs and introduce themselves to the larger reader base.

Now, I don’t expect a great gaggle of comments, but I think this could be a powerful thing. If you’re reading my blog, changes are we’ve got things in common. If Sigund Joe Freelancer is also partial to this here blog, chances are we got commonalities with him, too.

In an attempt to rope us narrative-loving, life-living folks together, I would love for you all to say hi, tell us where you’re from, what your blog is about, and allow myself and others to snoop around your blogs.

I’m terrible at communicating, so I’m hoping this will encourage more conversation. It’s also just plain difficult to find blogs that are gritty without taking itself too seriously. I fumble with tags. So it’ll help us like-minded folks find some other reading materials as well!

Please join in on all this office party fun and leave us a comment! By doing so, you are sponsoring my will to continue living, reading, and writing.

Cheers!

  1. Hey there, wanted to let you know you have listed an incorrect email address.

A group called Reedsy Discovery contacted it to see if you were interested in joining their team of reviewers.

    1. Thank you for calling out this oversight! I’ve updated it in the about page to the correct address. I’d love to hear about Reedsy Discovery, it seems to be a relaxed and authentic reviewing group.

  2. Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what
theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it?
    :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd”
on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the
    works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!

    1. Hey Alex! Thank you for being the first comment-er! I don’t know what happened to your comment to begin with, it totally got lost somehow, and I just found it to approve/post. I don’t know, dude, this is putting a kink in your “sleek” theory. haha

The theme I’m using is called “Dara.” it’s a theme provided by wordpress and it’s much more tech savvy users. I don’t know if it’s a free template or a paid for one, I must admit. You have a lot of media and your site is for making sales, that’s a huge difference in the functionality of my blog. You probably just don’t have enough online support. You’ll have to beef up the web services, friend, or it’ll stay bogged down. But I’m no computer wiz, so please don’t just take advice from me!

Stay safe (and sane) during the ‘Rona!
